Over the past 14 months, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to have the hard-working and truly inspiring Helen Willis in the role of Practice Manager at Humanimals. With a strong background in business management, Helen brought not only strategic smarts but a cool, people-first approach that has transformed our clinic from the inside out.

Helen’s ability to integrate VetPartners systems while overhauling operations, streamlining processes, and championing staff development has led to real, measurable results — all in the name of achieving true gold-standard care. Under her leadership, our team has embraced change and upskilled to meet skillset needed, our systems have sharpened, and our client experience has grown from strength to strength. You may have noticed the upgrades in our waiting areas (with more coming soon to our consult rooms!), but the real transformation is in how we work together — as a more connected, capable, and caring team.

A huge part of this success comes down to our incredible team. The staff have truly embraced the changes, showing courage, belief, and dedication every step of the way. Their willingness to grow, adapt, and support one another has been key to lifting the everyday mana of the clinic. Without their hard work and shared vision, we simply wouldn’t have become the strong and proud team we are today.

Helen’s incredible work has laid a solid and forward-thinking foundation — the perfect platform to welcome our new Lead Vet, Dr. DeAnna Fox. Together, we’re excited to continue driving the clinic forward with a shared focus on excellence, community, and compassionate care.
